The 3Lock posterior spine system was designed with the intent to satisfy the latest surgical demands using results obtained from previous experience with other types of implant apparatus. 3Lock evolved from a collaborative effort between a team of engineers and a team of spine surgeons, who have managed to effectively combine both their areas of expertise. The result is a system that is complete in every aspect. The vast diversity and range of sizes of its components are capable of dealing with all types of pathologies of the vertebral column; whether they stemmed from a degenerative disorder, traumatic in origin, or caused by a tumor. The system also allows for the treatment of deformities, more specifically, scoliosis.
