Endotrig Brown Endoscopic Trigger Release (Prod 1221)

About Endotrig Brown Endoscopic Trigger Release (Prod 1221)

The Brown Endoscopic Trigger Release (BETR) was developed to provide a minimally invasive, safe, and effective surgical technique for performing trigger release minimizing the post-operative morbidity compared to open techniques.  Trigger finger can be defined as an irritation of the digital sheath (A-1 pulley) that surrounds the flexor tendons of the finger. When the A-1 pulley becomes thickened or swollen, it pinches the tendon and prevents it from gliding smoothly. In some cases, the tendon catches and then suddenly releases as though a trigger were released. The BETR consists of procedure specific instrumentation allowing direct endoscopic visualization of the A-1 pulley prior to division, allowing the flexor tendon to glide without restriction. Previously available from Instratek.
