Placement of interbody devices is reproducible and consistent. Each gun is well-suited to a minimally invasive approach. Exiting nerve roots are protected during posterior approaches. Ideal positioning is easily accomplished under fluoroscopy. Allows use of larger intervertebral body devices. Reduces implant stress. Controlled distraction results in less endplate injury.
