Hyaloglide® is a transparent, highly viscous gel, made of auto cross-linked Hyaluronic Acid (ACP). The gel is composed of very pure hyaluronic acid and is highly bioabsorbable and biocompatible. Due to its residence time of about five days, it exerts an effective barrier function which minimizes adhesion of adjacent tissues.
Indications
Hyaloglide is indicated as a mechanical barrier for prevention or minimization of post surgical adhesions after tendon and peripheral nerve surgery.
