The Safe-T-Surg™ retractor is an innovative solution for safer, more expedient surgical procedures and a better alternative to the prevailing use of conventional metal retractors. The patent pending device is made of a non-electrically conductive clear plastic resin, eliminating the potential for patient burns from arching caused by positioning the electrocautery blade too close or in contact with the retractor.
Because Safe-T-Surge eliminates the concern for patient burns, electrosurgery may be performed at higher power settings, reducing and expediting operating times. It is transparent to allow for greater visibility and its lightweight material helps to reduce arm and hand fatigue. The FDA Registered Safe-T-Surg™ retractor is also highly durable and conveniently disposable.
