Fully compatible with the standard Hintermann Series H3™ TAR implant components allowing the surgeon to use the Hintermann Series H3™ Revision implants (tibia or talar) in combination, or in replacement of, the standard Hintermann Series H3™ implants
Both the talar and tibial Hintermann Series H3™ Revision implants are fixed to the remaining bone stock with similar bony interfaces to the standard prostheses. The implant and remaining bone stock must preserve a sufficient contact area to the bone, optimal load transfer, and appropriately compensate for bone loss. The standard Hintermann Series H3™ PE inlays are compatible with the Hintermann Series H3™ Revision implants.
