Medical Knee Arthrometer that measures the movement of the tibia relative to the distal femur
The Arthrometer is strapped to the anterior of the lower leg with one reference pad in contact with the patella and another in contact with the proximal tibia. A force is applied to a handle posteriorly and anteriorly and the change in the anterior position of the tibia is measured in relation to the patella.
Knee Arthrometer:
• Displays the current A-P position.
• Displays the displacement at preset loads of +/- 15 LB, 20 LB and 30LB
. • Captures the maximum and minimum displacement obtained during the test in the “Manual Max” mode.
• Records motion and applied force for plotting, visualization or analysis.
