About MIfx Dorsal IM Plate (Prod 6070)
Minimally invasive approach to dorsally displaced unstable distal radius fractures that is unique in orthopaedics. The combined technologies of the intramedullary fixation (without time consuming nail locking screws) and buttress plating create a stable construct that allows for minimal post operative immobilization, early range-of-motion, and functional restoration. Utilizes CoverLoc™ technology, a patent pending advancement that provides the surgeons with lag screw compression into the bone while still having fixed angle screws. In addition, securing the CoverLoc sheath also provides a smooth surface for all soft tissues to glide along. Previously available from DVO Extremity Solutions and then from Tornier.
