The Weil-Carver™ Hammertoe Implant is a combination of a screw and a barbed pin.It is a resorbable. Drill and tap the proximal phalanx. Drill the middle phalanx. Insert the threaded portion of the implant proximally. Press fit the barbed portion of the implant distally.
