Non-stoechiometric HYDROXYAPATITE prepared from the reaction between the acid and base calcium phosphates in the presence of aqueous solution
- Malleable for about 15 minutes and hardens in situ
- Contains no animal or human phase
- Recognized by bone cells
- Integrates perfectly with surrounding tissues
- Disappears after biodegradation leaving space for newly formed bone
Cementek® available in 8cm³ and 16cm³
Cementek® LV available in 16cm³ and is injectable for MIS (minimum invasive surgery)
