This Ankle Arthrometer quickly determines the inherent laxity of an ankle-subtalar joint complex in both Anterior-Posterior drawer and Inversion-Eversion Tilt. Simply attach the footplate to the patient with the built in adjustable pads, strap the reference pad to the anterior tibia, apply either anterior-posterior drawer or Inversion-eversion tilt force though the handle and read the laxity of the digital display. The device has been proven reliable in published research studies and Universities in the USA.
