About ALTES Anterior Buttress Plate (Prod 8272)
ALTES™ Anterior Buttress Plate was initially presented at the 2006 NASS meeting, and is designed to help prevent migration or expulsion of bone graft in the thoracolumbar to the S1 region. The ALTES System features a multi-function plate holder which allows the surgeon to switch seamlessly between freehand and a fully integrated guide system. No tools other than the screwdriver are needed for locking or unlocking. Previously available from the Altiva Corporation.
