HydraTek™ Process allografts derived from human amniotic tissue that provide a wound covering for surgical wounds, voids and defects
In addition to providing a physical wound covering, HydraTek™ Process allografts contain the biologically viable ExtraCellular Matrix (ECM), a protein system that provides the foundation of the body's tissues and organs. This ECM contains fibrous collagen proteins that provide a structural scaffold for cellular migration and attachment. The ECM also provides growth factors, hyaluronic acid, and other proteins which play a role in controlling inflammation, pain and cellular proliferation throughout the defect.
Application Technique
- Specify the appropriate size of Amnio graft to completely cover the defect).
- Place the graft onto the defect using forceps (if applying when dry, use dry forceps).
- For external wounds, dress the wound with non-adherent dressing.
- Keep the wound moist, not wet and not dry, for optimal graft performance.
