Anchorage CP Plating System (Prod 11642)

About Anchorage CP Plating System (Prod 11642)

The Anchorage Cross Plate System uses an inset diagonal, cross-joint screw to develop true mechanical compression across the fusion site. This approach minimizes the need for separate, independent stabilization and creates compression to stimulate the fusion process. All Anchorage CP Plates include:
•Unique, oblique screw design provides an immediate stable construct
•Low profile design to minimize soft tissue impingement
•Cannulated instrumentation helps surgical efficiency

Available in a MTP Plate and a Lapidus Plate

The Anchorage CP plate design positions the screw head in a counterbore that is angled across the fusion site. The recommmended over drilling method creates a lag effect that mechanically draws the bone segments together. This creates compression across the targeted fusion area. The recommended overdrilling generates mechanical compression by creating linear movement of the secondary bone segment against the stationary plate buttress.
