Load sharing fixation device that affords torsional rigidity calcaneal purchase through the posterior to anterior transcalcaneal locking screw. Option for compression with a nail-mounted compression device. Nail-mounted targeting for the proximal and distal screws. For tibiotalocalcaneal or pantalar ankle fusion. Posterior to anterior screw provides 40% greater torsional rigidity than lateral to medial screws.
