About Arthromatrix® (Prod 3666)
This company has developed a procedure of growing cartilage cells in vitro. In clearly defined cartilage cell defects, a small sterile cartilage biopsy is taken via arthroscopy and is divided into single cells under controlled laboratory conditions. The cells are multiplied and transplantated with surgical intervention to fill in the damaged cartilage area.
