BioSeed®-C means that a 3D Chondrocyte Graft can be grown from the patient's own cells. Shortly before transplantation, the cultured cells are combined with a matrix substance that gives the cartilage replacement its three-dimensional form. This pre-formed three-dimensional carrier fleece ensures that the fresh cartilage cells are accurately fitted into the defect.
