About C-STEM Triple Taper-Stabilized Hip
A triple taper cemented femoral stem. Two longitudinal tapers act conventionally to transfer compressive load. The critical third taper helps achieve maximum load transfer from the stem to the proximal femur, minimizing the effects of stress shielding and further improving the prospect of long-term implant security.
