About CollaFix (Prod 8602)
CollaFix™ technology was developed to mimic the natural composition, structure and mechanical properties of musculoskeletal tissues in order to augment their repair. Our materials are designed to function as a temporary mechanical support to allow early rehabilitation after surgical repair, which is crucial for optimal repair of tendons and ligaments. It acts as a scaffold for the emerging repair cells to generate a new tissue. CollaFix is also biodegradable and disappears during the repair process and after the repair is complete.
