A posterior locking elbow implant, The Discovery™ Elbow System, is articulated by 2 hemispherical cobalt-chromium condyles. They are fastened with 2 locking screws. The locking screws used in the Discovery™ Elbow System employ screws using Spiralock® technology. Spiralock® is a preload locking internal (female) thread form that is resistant to transverse vibration. Previously available from Biomet.
