FlexPLUS enters the spine motion preservation market by addressing two critical clinical needs: (1) dynamic stabilization of the spine without fusion, and (2) protection of the adjacent levels in a lumbar fusion. FlexPLUS is unique because it offers various degrees of stabilization—i.e., rigid, hybrid and dynamic—and is complementary with the recently launched XPLUS ™ instrumentation system. In short, FlexPLUS enables spine surgeons to apply Selective Segmental Stabilization during the procedure and therefore adapt to multiple disc-degeneration stages.
