Extra flat staple designed for patient comfort. Easy penetration with sharp bevelled spikes. Progressive and sufficient compression provided by the bevel of the spikes and the splay of the staple legs (1.5 mm). Good stability. The anti-recoil serrations are effective as they are located on the inner surface of the staple legs where pressure is exerted. The fins increase the surface area over which forces are applied to the often fragile bone cortex, reducing the risks of migration.
