The Gannet is an implant for the fixation of femoral neck fractures. The Gannet is characterised by high rotational stability, low implant volume and easy surgical technique. The Gannet preserves the remaining blood supply of the femoral head, it provides the stability necessary for revascularisation and it provides the stability necessary for primary fracture healing. The surgical technique is straightforward and the instrumentation simple.
