About Holmium LASER
The Holmium laser combines the cutting exellence of the carbon dioxide laser and at the same time the coagulative properties and the fiber delivery of the neodymium laser. Arthroscopic applications include chondroplasty, synovectomy, capsular shrinkage, lateral release, ablation of meniscal lesions, and ablation of hard tissue. Application for the spine are Percutaneous Laser Disk Decompression (PLDD) and the laser-based foraminoscopy.
