The effect of rotation brings motion to the minimally invasive T-LIF technique. Only the LOOP-cage offers a patented cage-axis. With the LOOP hinge, the implantation angle of the cage can be adopted in each phase, from its insertion via the posterior approach up to its lateral final position in the disc space. Compared with conventional PLIF’s, LOOP T-LIF cages avoid the approach through the spinal canal and reduce destabilisation of dorsal structures. As biomechanical comparative tests have shown, they offer a reduction in surgical costs together with a comparable segmental stabilisation. For the support of the sagittal curvature, all LOOP T-LIF cages have a lordotic design.
