About Lateral Locking Cage
Lateral Locking Cage (LLC) has been developed for the treatment of degenerative disc disease, and instability including grade 1 spondylolisthesis or retrolisthesis. The LLC is a first of its kind minimally invasive Interbody cage that locks to the vertebra above and below the disc space. It is implanted by use of a minimally invasive lateral approach to the lumbar spine. A “bulb” type keel rigidly locks the vertebra to the cage. This device allows for quicker surgery, less hospital stay and a quicker return to function for our patients with less pain.
