About PEEK SutureTak
The PEEK™ SutureTak is a nonabsorbable suture anchor. This inert, non-reactive thermoplastic material shares key characteristics and benefits of both metal alloy and bioabsorbable materials and is anchor alternative for labral instability repair of the shoulder. The 3 mm x 12 mm PEEK SutureTak shares the same reverse barbed design as the Bio-SutureTak but has a material eyelet to house #2 FiberWire suture. The lubricity of PEEK allows for easy, non-abrasive sliding of the FiberWire suture through the material eyelet. It is used in conjunction with the AR-1949 Bio-SutureTak instrument set.
