About PROW SPACER (Prod 150416)
After making one small incision to expose the interspinous ligament, a conduit is inserted. This one conduit, used throughout the entire procedure, allows safe and predictable passage of the non-linear dilators through the base of the ligament and deployment of the PROW SPACER™ implant. As the PROW SPACER™ exits the far end of the conduit, it is deflected into a predefined configuration. The implant position is secured by a single stitch binding the proximal end of the implant to the supraspinous ligament..
The entire procedure, from opening to close, takes less than half an hour.
