About Pin Bender (Prod 7421)
Designed for preshaping or relieving stress on intramedullary Pins. The bender plays an important part in the Rush Pinning Technic. A slight curve properly applied could possibly make the difference between union and non-union. It might be desirable to give a slight curve to the entire pin or perhaps only the head or pointed end will need shaping. When a pin is to be preshaped, the convexity of the curve is always in the direction opposite that of the hook and the point.
