The Rail Deformity System is a lower profile alternative to circular fixation for deformity correction. The Rail System is capable of many applications including, but not limited to, limb lengthenings (single level and bi-focal), angular corrections, and fusions.
Adult Rails are carbon fiber, offering radiolucency and reduced construct weight—Approximately 1/2 the weight of the first generation rail system. Indications include fracture fixation, derotational and angular osteotomies and other proximal femur reconstruction procedures.
