The patents cover a unique screw locking technology invented by Sven Olerud, a world-renowned retired orthopedic surgeon and professor emeritus of orthopedics. Kapstone Medical is currently pursuing the development of multiple projects involving spinal products that will utilize the Spherofix technology. As an independent development company, Kapstone welcomes industry partners for co-development, marketing or sales of new implant systems.
