Spider Frame is a circular external fixator indicated for both bone correction and fracture treatment. A simple Internet-based program guides you through the procedure. The treatment principles are based on Ilizarov’s method. Spider Frame advances computer-aided external fixation several steps forward. Standard manual planning can be combined with direct digital planning (X-rays are downloaded directly in the software and are then calculated automatically).
The struts are made of titanium to provide better weight bearing, and the rings have a double-hole configuration to ensure greater flexibility in connection with the use of pins, wires and cubes. The device allows real-time simulation of the correction period.
