About StaXx Fracture Repair System (Prod 5157)
The StaXx system works by means of injecting a series of interlocking wafers into the vertebral body, delivered through a percutaneous approach. The StaXx Fracture Repair System is designed to allow the surgeon to build a structural, height restoring, implant inside a fractured, osteoporotic vertebral body. It is designed to be used in conjunction with standard bone void fillers such as PMMA (bone cement).
