Synergy Disc™ is the first artificial disc that has been designed to restore physiological motion and correct sagittal balance. Innovations such as unique lordotic core geometry, acute fixation methods, safety stops, and improved multi-level implant stability offer benefits over existing disc replacements. The robust implant design and simple surgical steps allow for reliable and long-lasting results.
Synergy Disc™ is the first to provide a physiological center of rotation. The implant introduces deformity correction while maintaining full range of motion (ROM). It has titanium-on-polyethylene (UHMWPE) articulation with a mobile center of rotation (COR). The varying degrees of lordotic correction incorporated into the polyethylene core provide correction of sagittal alignment in flexion and extension, as well as lateral bending and axial rotation.
