About TWIST-OFF Screws (Prod 10717)
The Twist-Off™ screws are compression bone screws for the quick fixation of osteotomies and/or bone fragments. They are directly screwed into the bone with a drill. The pivots of the Twist-Off™ screws are to be inserted in the Jacob chuck (three-jaw chuck). When slowly screwing in the screws, the drill should be slightly tilted as soon as the screw head has reached the dorsal cortical is to twist off the pinion from the screw at the pre-determined breaking point. Subsequently, the screws are tightened with a slotted screwdriver.
