This intervention is carried out mostly arthroscopically. This method enormously simplifies the handling and significantly shortens the operation time. In Germany, the product of the autologous three-dimensional chondrocyte transplantation (ACT 3D) is distributed by the marketing and sales company Ormed GmbH & Co. KG under the name ARTROcell 3D®.
