About Topigel (Prod 5429)
Soft, mildly adhesive, gel sheet made of medical-grade silicone elastomer and is reinforced with semi-occlusive polyester fabric. Hypertrophic and keloid scars are difficult to treat, especially when they are the result of extensive deep burns or trauma. Conventional treatments include compression, injection, irradiation, surgical revision or a combination of these. TopiGel(tm) Sheeting offers an alternative. New thinner sheeting available in convenient sizes: 1/16in (1.6mm) strips, patches, sheets and other unique shapes. Conforms to the body, moving with the client. The gel sheet and scar are in constant contact. No pressure is required.
