VergenixBVF is a novel absorbable scaffold bioengineered to mimic the natural cancellous structure and composition of human bone. It is composed of recombinant human type I collagen and calcium phosphate particles, which together create the osteoconductive environment required to support bone growth. The VergenixBVF is available in a sponge forms and it is ideal for posterolateral spinal fusion indication. VergenixBVF is supplied as a dry scaffold and can be hydrated to form strong and elastic matrix with excellent handling properties. VergenixBVF can be designed to suit minimally invasive surgery.
