The Vertex Reconstruction System is comprised of attachment mechanisms, such as multi-axial screws, hooks, and lateral offset connectors, which attach to a rod. The VERTEX™ Reconstruction System is cleared for C1 - T3 Laminar Hook placement and T1 - T3 pedicle screws. This System is intended for posterior use only. When paired with the VERTEX SELECT Occipitocervical Module this system comprises a comprehensive posterior cervical-upper thoracic spinal system that offers adjustability through multiple plate designs, rods, screws, and hooks that gives surgeons more options during surgery, enabling them to tailor the procedure to each patient's needs. Product now has FDA clearance allowing for lateral mass and pedicle screws to be used as a form of fixation to treat various pathologies occurring in the posterior cervical spine.
