About Xray Artistry (Prod 160215)
Xray Artistry is a unique new art form that is a fascinating blend of art and science. About 25 years ago, radiologist Susan Summerton, MD began collecting images embedded in radiologic studies which serendipitously resemble letters, numbers, shapes and symbols. Inspired by images of bones, organs, muscles and surgical materials, the artist Dr. Summerton has created artistic reproductions of these alphabets, numbers and symbols and has transformed them into medical artwork. She creates beautiful and truly unique compositions from these xray letters for commemorative displays, inspirational messages, unique signs, wall art and more. Choose a pre-made canvas or print, or create your own custom message…perfect for practice and physician names, waiting room and office signs, and positive messages.
Create your own personalized gifts of Xray artwork in honor of college graduations, radiology technologist and medical school diplomas, board certifications, new appointments and practices, even new baby names! Xray art is the perfect gift for many occasions – visit our Xray Art Alphabet and Xray Art Gallery for an "inside" look at Xray Artistry!
