Waldemar Link Combicup with SP-CL Stem (Implant 2104282)

About Waldemar Link Combicup with SP-CL Stem (Implant 2104282)

Submitted as an unidentified prosthesis by Xiao Hui Tan
Sales Executive, Joint Reconstruction
Pelaling, Selangor, Malaysia

8/5/21:  Identified as a Waldemar Link Combicup with an SPCL Stem by Andrew Jessop, Proactive Ortho (Orthopaedic Sales & Marketing), Greater Sydney area, Australia

8/9/21:  Jim Malcolm (Managing Director at Link Orthopaedics UK Ltd) does not think that this is a SPCL stem (which he says is S-shaped and has proximal ribs that should be visible).  He is "pushing toward Stryker).  Andrew Jessop says with an AP view only it's difficult to conclude, but if it is a CombiCup he still leans toward it being a SPCL stem.

Previous suggestions of manufacturer:
7/28/21:  Kevin Brown thinks that this could be an Osteonics PSL cup (Striker) because of the striations around the cup.
7/30/21:  David Wortman thinks it is a Stryker prosthesis.
