About Ring THA (Implant 3788)

Ring Prosthesis showing the frequently observed sclerotic changes around the stem, usually associated with loosening. Developed by Peter Ring in England in the early 1970s. It had a screw-shaped acetabular stem and an Austin Moore as a femoral stem. High failure rate due to acetabular loosening.
