Little Grafter™ is manufactured from Biosteon®, Biocomposites' proprietary material with a proven track record in sports medicine. This unique fully absorbable composite screw system enhances bone healing by providing effective fixation and a bioactive scaffold for new bone growth. The distribution of calcium salts throughout the Little Grafter™ screw not only provides strength and bone bonding ability, but also effective resistance to acidosis by acting as buffering agents to acidic by-products associated with simple polymer implants.
