About NVJJB™/M5® Intraoperative Monitoring System (Prod 11788)
The NVJJB™/M5® Intraoperative Monitoring System provides surgeon-driven electromyography (EMG) transcranial Motor Evoked Potentials (MEP), and Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SSEP) monitoring to reduce the incidence of injury to neural elements during spinal procedures. Free Run EMG is used throughout the ACDF procedure to monitor spontaneous neurological insult from mechanical stimuli. A revolutionary MEP application assesses spinal cord integrity and detects neurological complications due to mechanical insult or vascular ischemia by monitoring changes in MEP thresholds, automatically determined and closely tracked for multiple myotomes throughout the procedure. Sensory pathways are monitored via state-of-the-art SSEP software and easy-to-use patient preparation materials.
