The SLIC Screw™ device is a jointed screw designed to address acute and chronic scapholunate instability, still considered an unsolved problem in orthopaedics. The SLIC Screw™ device controls the interval between the scaphoid and lunate when scapholunate instability is present, while allowing flexion, extension and normal toggle.
