Thank you for adding images of your good work. In doing so, you will help our colleagues help their patients and the images may even be used for educational purposes.
Implant images do not need to be unusual to be useful. What is common to you where you are now will be uncommon to someone somewhere now and will be uncommon to everyone everywhere in the future.
It’s easy. A digital photo of an x-ray on a view box or monitor (even with your phone camera) works well. Please send AP and lateral views, and more if needed. You can upload several at once or add them sequentially if you prefer.
Please remove all patient identifying information from the image submitted. If you cannot do so, we can do it for you. We have received a legal opinion that our Implant Identification service is HIPAA compliant.
Don’t worry too much about the category. Before the image is published, we will assign it to the appropriate category.
If you do not know the name of the implant or the manufacturer, please say so and we will ask our users for help identifying it.
Note: All images will be reviewed by us before the images are displayed on the website.
